Here's what industry has to say about MBA Capital Markets programme...
|

We must learn to apply the sophisticated complex models (with simple economic theories) into short-term practicality so that we could predict future volatility, loss and current scenarios from various ends to take our portfolio decision strategies (towards secondary market research) for India and other emerging nations. Through various quantitative risk measures, we threadbare dissect the current or future crisis, piece by piece, making out their roles. We must identify trends, pitfalls, lapses and remedies. We highlight portfolio analysis to credit derivatives (RBI’s current re-initiative from April’09) I encourage the budding practitioners to learn the solutions on in-depth risk modeling on current and future market scenario.
NMIMS’s (Capital Market) Investocraft initiative is promising and important in terms of creating common space to conduct high-end interface in between rapidly growing (currently affected by global slowdown) industry and budding energetic technocrats or practitioners.

Mumbai is widely regarded as Mecca of Indian Capital Markets and it is therefore in the fitness of things that the NMIMS University, as the premier B-School in the country, should have an MBA programme exclusively catering to capital markets. The structural design of the programme is upto date and succinct and the teaching pedagogy is modern. Above all, the overall quality of students in this programme is second to none. I have no doubt that the students reading for this programme will prove their worth in the field of business in the years to come.
